Meet our Panel


Jeff Boyd

Jeff Boyd has spent the past 13 years with Lowe’s Canada, joining in 2007 to start the store network expansion of the Lowe’s Home Improvement brand in Canada.  His initial role was in Real Estate Development and Design, commencing the physical store design, permitting and expansion program, and eventually taking on responsibility to lead the In-Country Real Estate, Development, Construction, Facilities, Property Management, and Store Planning and Design functions.  Following the 2016 acquisition of RONA by Lowe’s, Jeff relocated to Montreal, QC where he led the Business and Team Integration activities, and Strategic Network Planning exercises of the Company’s combined Store Real Estate Portfolio.

Jeff is currently in the role of Vice President – Merchandising Operations and Store Planning, where he is working to translate the company’s branding and network strategy into executable merchandising plans for the consumer.  Prior to joining Lowe’s, Jeff held various roles in Real Estate Development and Engineering.  Jeff has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, and a degree in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston.

 Jon Buckley


Jon Buckley focuses exclusively on retail investment sales and has become one of the top investment brokers for retail related assets in British Columbia and Alberta. With more than 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate, Jon has an intimate knowledge of the retail landscape in B.C and A.B., allowing him to work extensively with groups at both the private and institutional levels.


Jon has brokered a multitude of investment transactions, including enclosed shopping centres, anchored strip malls and plazas, street-front retail properties, mixed-use development sites, single-tenant assets and hotels.


Jon entered the industry as a financial analyst for a leading investment properties group, successfully underwriting more than $2.5 billion in total transaction volume during his first two years in the industry. Prior to co-founding Form Real Estate Advisors (now Marcus & Millichap), he worked at a multinational commercial brokerage firm on a national investment team. Jon earned his Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies at the University of Western Ontario, majoring in Finance and Administration.

 Graeme Johnson

Graeme Johnson is a Founding Partner and Executive Vice President of Shape Properties Corp. Graeme is involved in many aspects of Shape's business plan from retail and office leasing, asset management, acquisitions, dispositions and some development planning.

Shape Properties has some of the largest projects underway in North America including The Amazing Brentwood and The City of Lougheed, this portfolio encompasses over 7.5 million square feet of retail and office space. Graeme’s ability to strategically maximize lease rates while developing long-term relationships with tenants has been instrumental to Shape’s success.
