Description: Join the NAIOP Developing Leaders in the final edition of their Happy Hour Virtual Series. We have gathered a panel of specialists from various perspectives - Landlord, Tenant and Broker. Through this session we hope to demystify their processes and requirements.

Meet Our Panelists
Maureen Neilly, Director, Leasing, Quadreal Property Group
Maureen’s career in real estate has extended over many decades and in numerous facets of the industry, including brokerage with Cushman, to retail leasing with Morguard and project sales with Cressey. Previous to joining Quadreal as Director, Commercial Leasing, Maureen spent 17 years with the provincial government negotiating leases for the province on a variety of asset classes, but mostly in office space where she has negotiated several million square feet of space and has spearheaded dozens of government RFPs for procurement of new space. Maureen joined Quadreal in 2017 and looks after a portfolio of both office and industrial space and has completed close to a million sf of leasing for Quadreal.
Rob Eyers, Director of Leasing, Wesgroup Properties Ltd.
Rob is responsible for the leasing of Wesgroup’s commercial portfolio consisting of over 3.2m square feet of industrial, retail and office properties in the Lower Mainland. In over 10 years at Wesgroup Rob has completed over 500 lease transactions equating to over 2.5m square feet of space. Rob oversees all of Wesgroup’s substantial public sector tenant portfolio which includes Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Fraser Health, Translink and Public Works.
  Bart Corbett, Senior Vice President, Office, Cushman & Wakefield
Bart Corbett is Cushman & Wakefield’s top producing office leasing representative in Western Canada. As Executive Vice President, his strengths lie in the diversity and wide knowledge of both the downtown core and suburban markets, enabling him to better serve his clients with a broad spectrum of opportunities and solutions.
Mr. Corbett completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and joined Royal LePage Commercial (now Cushman & Wakefield Ltd.) in 1990. His 30 years of experience with the company has given him the opportunity to work on a diverse cross section of real estate transactions and solutions representing tenants at a corporate level across a variety of different industries. Similarly, his client base has enabled him to create strong working relationships with landlords and brokers.
Mr. Corbett has acted on behalf of the following local, national and international clients for either the disposition or acquisition of office space in the Metro Vancouver area: Royal Bank, Bank of Montreal, Canaccord Genuity, Sophos, Mastercard, Fluor Corporation, Sun Life, Marsh McLennan Companies, Fraser/Providence/Vancouver/Provincial Health Authorities, Polygon Homes, Mosaic Homes and Intracorp.
  Ryan Beattie, Regional Director, Real Property Branch, Accommodation and Portfolio Management, Public Services and Procurement Canada
Ryan Beattie has twenty-five years of experience working in the Federal Government, fifteen of which have been with Public Services and Procurement Canada, managing federal office accommodation in various capacities. Mr. Beattie began his career as an interior designer and holds a Masters Degree in Leadership.
